The Osteopath is a rapidly growing profession in Portugal and Europe.
For students wishing to train as qualified Osteopath, the ITS – Instituto de Técnicas de Saúde, offers a best train – D.O.. The course is of 4 years duration.
The course has a large practical component, with private Clinic of the ITS, where the students will observe treatments and learn Clinic management skills, processing in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th years to treating clinic patients under the supervision of qualified osteopaths.
Upon successful completion of the course, graduates will be eligible to register as Osteopath in FPO – Portuguese Federation of Osteopaths.
Osteopathy includes a wide range of specialities that meet the health needs, such as babies and children, sports, visceral..
